Yes! The improved FORTIS has arrived!
Throughout the use of complex CFD simulations and analysis, we have improved the shape of the blade even more. This has allowed us to reduce the slip of the blade through the water, to cut down the flutter even more, and to increase the general effectiveness of the blade.
This time we also worked on the recovery phase of the stroke. That means the paddle is more aerodynamic when going to the next stroke, therefore saving your energy and allowing you to collect more miles on the water in a shorter time.
FORTIS is the most suitable paddle if you are looking for distance, technical and sprint racing.

Respective to your paddling style and usage you can configure your FORTIS 2021 with a fixed or adjustable lightweight carbon shaft of preferred stiffness - soft, medium or hard.
The ABS rail protects the paddle from mechanical damage - hitting rocks, board sides, other dangerous objects on your way ahead while paddling the favorite route or a race.
Construction and materials
The core of FORTIS is made out of Obeche wood to achieve the necessary lightweight and mechanical properties and advantages of wood over other core materials. The blade is reinforced with high-performance lightweight glass fiber. With these materials, you can expect the weight of the complete paddles as shown in the specification tables.
